A friend gave me this idea to compare Season 1 Bill to Season 4 Bill. Now that Bill is King of Louisiana, not only the house, but Bill has been through a transformation. King Bill: Long May He Reign

Last week we found out that Bill Compton has a new role in True Blood Season 4. Unlike the books, Bill is now the King of Louisiana and since Alan Ball has “cleaned the slate” for Bill, there’s no end to what might happen to his our favorite vampire this year.

Personally, I am thrilled with this new role change and can’t wait to see what Bill encounters during the season. I still contend however, that Bill loves Sookie and yet, I am up for any situation that the writer’s might put him into because I know Stephen Moyer is capable of meeting any and all challenges!

Because this is such an inspiring new plot line, I just couldn’t resist starting to make a new Season 4 wallpaper for our new King of Louisiana, Bill Compton. You can get a larger version of this wallpaper here or to see all my wallpapers, click here.

In last week's episode of True Blood, Stephen Moyer entered a new world where he found Claudine. We are yet to know, in the show, what Sookie is, but Bill is attempting to discover her identity and tells her at the end of the episode that he does know who she is. Bill Compton as Procurer for the King of Mississippi

Bill Compton, while working for the King of Mississippi renewed his role as "procurer" when he was sent into a Strip club to find dinner for the King and Lorena. I found this scene to be incredibly beautiful with the colors and the music, as chosen by Gary Calamar, True Blood's Music Supervisor.

Here's my final wallpaper dedicated to Bill's maker who died tonight in Episode 7 of Season 3. Marianna Klaveno was great in the part and we wish her well, but I think Bill is well rid of her. I do hope that we will get to see her in flashbacks though. Best wishes Lorena!

Bill & Lorena - the bleeds have begun

I remember this scene vividly during Episode 7 of Season 2 when Lorena was holding Bill captive so he couldn't go to Sookie. Evidently, as vampires get tired, they start to leak blood and Lorena started to bleed from her nose and Bill from his ear. The dynamic between these two is quite interesting. Its my opinion that Lorena is Bill's kidnapper, but we'll have to wait for Season 3 to find out if I'm right. Click here to view this wallpaper in a larger size. Season 2 may be over, but that doesn't mean I don't keep looking at episodes. I love episode 5 when Sookie goes downstairs to speak to Barry the bellboy and then returns to find Bill sleeping. When he wakes he expresses his fear by saying "I dreamt you were gone". Then, they have a lovely scene in bed talking. This wallpaper is inspired by Bill looking up at Sookie when he awakes. I have no idea yet what the dancing scene in Episode 12 will be about or why Sookie and Bill are dancing and having dinner together, but I like to hope that they have found some sort of happiness. It remains to be seen if this happens, or if we have what is expected, a love triangle or that we are left with a big cliff hanger. At any rate, since this week True Blood is on a hiatus and this photo was so lovely, I thought I'd make a wallpaper from it.

Bill Compton and The New World In My View

Last week's episode of True Blood, S1, Ep. 10 was a re-awakening of our Bill Compton. We were all worried about not only his looks in the series recently, but his character and how he was being treated. One thing I was worried about was that he was a sacrificial lamb this season in favor of other cast members. However, Episode 10 showed us the Bill we Bill lovers wanted to see. Thanks Alan Ball. When Bill Compton walked across the bridge to the Queen of Louisana's mansion, we were all treated to a gorgeous few seconds of bliss. To the left is my interpretation of that scene. True Blood Fans Help cure blindness - Choroideremia

One might ask what the connection is between the Choroideremia Research Foundation and True Blood. The answer simply is E.J. Scott. EJ is the boyfriend of True Blood actress, Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) and he and several of his family members have been diagnosed with Choroideremia.

Choroideremia is a degenerative hereditary eye disease that attacks the peripheral vision and slowly erodes it over time until total blindness.

Hallelujahs. Hallelujahs! Well, last night's episode, S2, E10, seems to have given us much of the Bill we loved in Season 1, so I am now bowing to HBO and Alan Ball's wisdom and am hopeful that our Bill will be himself through the rest of the season. No more pasty white makeup and he was so dashing at the end sauntering across that bridge in his leather jacket to the Queen of Louisiana. While I am reserving final judgment on this topic until I have seen the last two episodes, I want to say "Thank You", to Alan Ball and HBO for giving us our Bill back in this episode!

Many fans have been lamenting the demise of the look we had in Season 1 of our favorite vampire, Bill Compton. Where are his henleys and why so much pastey white makeup?

The wallpaper to the left is how we love to see him and is my way of letting the powers at HBO know that we all loved the way Bill looked here and we would love to see that look again!

Everyone seems to have liked Godric and was sorry to see him meet the sun last Sunday night. I remember that scene as especially poignant and was surprised that there seemed to be such feeling expressed by two vampires. Here's a wallpaper dedicated to Godric, he will be missed.

Jason Stackhouse, Sookie's brother is probably the most mixed up guy in Bon Temps. He's good looking and so adorable, but he's not really that bright. However, we all love him because we know he is so sweet and will do anything for his sister. I thought it would be nice to do a wallpaper of Jason now that he has finally "seen the light" and leve the Fellowship of the Sun.

Malcolm the vampire from Season 1

Malcolm, Diane and Liam were three former nest mates of Bill Compton. We first see them in Episode 3 of Season 1, when they arrive unexpectedly at Bill's house, just prior to Sookie's arrival. Malcolm is a real character, older then Bill and much more powerful. He was a delight on the screen and I know we were all sorry to see him go when he died in Episode 5 in the house fire set by three rednecks from Bon Temps.

Bill Compton seeks his humanity.

One of the important story lines in Season 2 has been the struggle Bill Compton has had with maintaining his humanity. We saw a bit of his history in Episode's 6 and 7 with Lorena, his maker. I would so like to know more about his past and what lead him to be fed up with the horrific life he had been leadig with Lorena as a vampire and what was the catalyst that made him change. So, while thinking of that I decided to do a Bill wallpaper which I think illustrates this struggle somewhat.

I have to admit that the flashback scene in Episode 6 of Season 2 of True Blood was a turning point for me in the series. I was worried about TB, but no more. They are so out there and really seem to know how to push the envelope.

One of the nicest parts of Season 2 has been the developing relationship between Jessica and Hoyt. They are so adorable together. It's great to see Hoyt opening up and standing up to his momma about Jessica. It's touching to see Jessica's first love interest and how much she is growing into such a lovely young lady vampire. Because of this, I was inspired to do a wallpaper dedicated to these young lovers. Best of luck to them.

This isn't about wallpapers or strictly True Blood, but sort of is, too. I heard this on an HBO promo about their summer shows and there is lots of TB in it. It's a song by a great group called the Local NYC.

I admit it, I'm addicted to the Local NYC. Addict Me, is awesome and describes me! Thanks Thellou for posting the video of the promo from HBO on You Tube. While I love the video and the smoke effects, I so love this song more, just can't stop listening to it. The words are everything. I LOVE THEM! Another True Blood fan asked me to make a wallpaper for Vampire Pam. Pam is the loyal assistant to Erich Northman and helps him run Fangatasia bar. She is truly a vampire and doesn't hold any interest in reviving her former life as a human like Bill Compton does.

Wow, it was HOT to see Bill's anger after what happened at Jessica's parent's house and I love how Bill holds Sookie when she is hurt by the mysterious creature in this episode. Tara is one of my favorite characters in True Blood. She has been such a good friend to Sookie while having her own "deamons" to contend with. Somehow, I don't think she is going to be much luckier this season with Mariann controlling her. I sure hope she has something good happen to her for a change.

I've done a new wallpaper for Bill and Sookie. The new photos are just so great, I can't not use them. I'm looking forward to seeing them travel to Dallas in the upcoming episodes and cannot wait to see Episode 3 tomorrow night. This season is proving to be as good as it was last year. Sam Merlotte deserves all the respect he can get. He is the #1 second bananna. I so like Sam and feel for him not getting any Sookie love. That doesn't mean that I want Sookie to leave Bill, oh no, I just think Sam deserves some attention. Here's one for him. True Blood covers the LA TIMES

As if you all didn't already know, True Blood Season 2 starts tomorrow night. Well, I am so in anticipation of the new season and I just can't wait. I am trying to keep my excitement down, but it's difficult with so much to see about True Blood.

This has been a fabulous week full of exciting and wonderful interviews and news articles about the Show. Stephen Moyer, our lovely, Bill Compton has been everywhere, just where I want him to be. He is a true professional with so much talent and it really showed up on the interviews he gave and the TV appearances he made. I am so in awe. Look at the LA Times from yesterday to the right.

Hope to have new S2 images to create a whole new set of wallpapers real soon!

Don't forget to watch Episode 1 tomorrow night on HBO.
